About Us

Laura Dominick Born in Chicago and raised on the city’s southwest side. She attended J.F. Kennedy high school where in 1971 she heard about chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo from her friend Bob. He invited her to a meeting about a philosophy of life which, after 4 months of much apprehension, Laura attended January 8, 1972 and has been practicing Nichiren Buddhism with the SGI (Soka Gakkai International which means value creating society) ever since. She worked at her father's printing company for 32 years. He was semi-retired and was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer which he passed away from a few months later. Laura had digestive problems all her life. She had started seeing a doctor of osteopathy who had her see a nutritionist who did live cell analysis in his office. She was informed as to healthier eating such as eliminating or cutting down on dairy and other acidic foods. Also in her case, eliminating gluten from her diet, which helped. He sent her to a colon hydrotherapist. She had 7 sessions within 3 weeks and her digestive system was functioning much better. Laura decided to become a certified colon hydrotherapist through I-ACT, the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists in March 2006 and has been helping people by doing colonics ever since. She is certified at the advanced level and is a National Board of Colon Hydrotherapists member.

Colon Hydrotherapy

Our Services include:

- Colon hydrotherapy is the safe, gentle infusion of warm filtered water into the rectum using no chemicals or drugs. This is a restorative, painless procedure that is both relaxing and effective. The individual lies comfortably on a treatment table and a speculum is gently inserted into the rectum. The therapist then monitors the temperature and pressure of the water infused into and out of the colon (large intestine) without any assistance on the part of the individual. The entire procedure takes approximately 45 minutes.
Colon hydrotherapy- method cleanses the entire colon without stressing the individual. The instrument features a disposable unit that eliminates any possible contamination to the client from a previous procedure. The system is closed and waste material is eliminated through the instrument and out the drain line, avoiding any offensive odor and maintaining the dignity of the individual. The machine is FDA approved and is sanitized immediately after every client.
-Hypnosis is a relaxed state of mind that heightens suggestibility. Hypnosis gives you the ability to accept suggestions on a subconscious level, where most conflicts seem to begin. It is an experience similar to when you drift off to sleep not fully asleep and not fully awake. You can hear the words that the hypnotist is speaking during the hypnosis session however, at times you’re aware of the words being spoken and at other times you’re not. Sometimes it seems as though you’re not paying attention and this is exactly how your goal will be accomplished. By not intellectualizing or by not paying attention, the suggestions you are hearing are more readily accepted by the unconscious mind.
